Now this is actually triple circle-funding, interesting: Meta buys chips from AMD.

AMD will have solid earnings (maybe not as much of a smash as last time, but still good).

*Looks and sees AMD is still over $500*.

Intel had cpus self destructing and lost consumer favor with the PC nerds and AMD had outperformed them with the x3d chips in gaming.

APPL PLTR monday, AMD tues, ARM QCOM wed, more than enough to mess shit up more if they miss.

This year I've added to MRVL, AMD and TSM in April, CRWD in July, MSFT in August, and Google and AMZN on Friday (first time buying AMZN).

Best F'ng buying opportunity in a while
Hahaha my exact thoughts seeing these posts. We are currently in an equity market where a huge portion of the participants have never experienced an environment that "buying the dip" doesn't work exceptionally well almost immediately. Retail trading/ investment activity skyrocketed in 2021-2022 and has been high ever since. Liberation day and the start of the Iran war this year made people's confidence in the strategy even stronger. I'm not saying it won't continue to work right now. A lot of things have changed, and Trump announcing a peace deal …

I'm guessing we go up Monday then get fucked on Wednesday when AMD reports.

Do you know any traders with a high profit factor that live trade?
Please show me how I lose money other than AMD trades. … You can comment negatively but I am happy with my 110% gains and in October my return is $566,420.36.

The semis and hyperscaler correlation is flawed
Yeah this dude is a when do you think the chip cycle peaks in terms of revenue growth and stock price? Everyone has been amazed at Nvidia over the past 5 years I'm hoping AMD can do something similar.

Trust AMD is doing a -15% or more for sure. It did -17% on earnings in Jan on a mediocre quarter, they're going to miss revenue just like Intel did. No one can buy PC's anymore due to the rising memory costs.

It was never normal for massive companies like DELL/HPE/ INTC/ AMD to make a 30% move in minutes. … If AAPL follows the trend of the other companies on their earnings report Monday, and NVDA on the 17th, the market will be in trouble given they combined make up 14% of the S&P 500 right now.

TTWO is at a 52 week low 19 days before the most hyped game launch ever
Like there's a handful of companies in the world capable of making and designing advanced computer hardware. … Did we really think that they were just going to roll over and die because Nvidia and AMD got big pushes?

The semis and hyperscaler correlation is flawed
My biggest concern isn't necessarily long-term chip demand, but whether a slowdown in AI spending could hurt semis enough that my OTM LEAPS take a beating before things recover. … I still feel pretty bullish on AMD and INTC through 2028, but I'm trying to be realistic.

Almost a trillion USD wiped out
That's small stuff, talking about Intel becoming a TSMC backed with US support is why Intel is valued. … Though AMD doesn't just have the CPU they have the worlds most powerful MI455 instinct accellerators..atm anyway.

Reducing my tech exposure, stock recommendations?
You can't win them all, but the pullbacks in 2018, 2020, 2024 (tariff tantrum) and 2025 (Iraq war) did wonders for my individual positions. … I'll be retiring 3 years early bc of my winners.

Even NVDA, AMD, SPCX, INTC and the other shovel sellers are getting sucked in or already hitting negative cash flow or debt, even AAPL isn't untouched, the memory cost insanity is helping cut it's sales and their earnings don't back up that P/E anymore. … As bad as SpaceX was, this is such an obvious rug pull and pump and dump that even the dumbest retail investors should know they're just bagholders for exit liquidity.

INTC holders it'll be okay
GPU wars? Bro they lost the CPU wars to AMD with Ryzen , they just went for gpu's and shot themselves in the foot.

AMD is as overvalued as it gets. Numbers are just bonkers, it will follow INTC's turbulent repricing
tbh I think even if AMD discovers the cure of cancer it will fell off a cliff in earnings because the sentiment is awful. … Years of awful administration by INTC aren't erased in 1-2 years just because the CPU market is booming, AMD predicted correctly and its showing, they are extremely more prepared for what the market wants.

I love Anthropic's products, BUT I think their S1 is a far more scarier than people let on.
They'll gladly use NVIDIA or AMD GPUs, Google TPUs, Amazon Trainium, etc. … They brag about this in their S-1, and from what I've heard, the other frontier AI companies aren't as well positioned for a hardware-agnostic future, which might make them more vulnerable to supply shocks, aggressive partner pricing, etc.

Now I'm invested in DRAM because the party isn't stopping for the next 2-3 years and potentially even more. … I swap NVDA AI GPU for AMD AI GPU, and well I lost 2 decades of CUDA advancements, and the very framework on which AI was developed past decade.

Meta announces $95 billion stock offering to fund AI expansion
At ~$650 per share, even if META stock were to drop by half, Nvidia and AMD would loose around ~$2.5B in equity value, while each securing somewhere in the range of $10-20B in high margin revenue. … But at least for this one, a small equity stake for a large chunk of revenue with a company that has fairly robust non-AI revenue is probably a pretty safe bet.
