Laugh at my pain but also looking for advice
Hold the DRAM and the IREN. Get rid of IREN as soon as you breakeven or get profit. There's a chance neoclouds can come back but they're the most exposed to the growing circular AI debt. If the AI trade does bounce, memory is the king. There is no AI trade without memory and NVDA. Don't know the rest of these names.

Best F'ng buying opportunity in a while
It was never normal for massive companies like DELL/HPE/ INTC/ AMD to make a 30% move in minutes. … If AAPL follows the trend of the other companies on their earnings report Monday, and NVDA on the 17th, the market will be in trouble given they combined make up 14% of the S&P 500 right now.
Reducing my tech exposure, stock recommendations?
You can't win them all, but the pullbacks in 2018, 2020, 2024 (tariff tantrum) and 2025 (Iraq war) did wonders for my individual positions. … I'll be retiring 3 years early bc of my winners.
Apple Earnings Preview Discussion
AAPL's been acting like a safe haven from every AI and AI adjacent stock, and commands a 40 p/e which is insane for its level of growth. … There's obvious margin pressure going on due to NAND and DRAM prices going vertical, and their price increases have obv decreased demand too.
The semis and hyperscaler correlation is flawed
My biggest concern isn't necessarily long-term chip demand, but whether a slowdown in AI spending could hurt semis enough that my OTM LEAPS take a beating before things recover. … I still feel pretty bullish on AMD and INTC through 2028, but I'm trying to be realistic.

AMD is as overvalued as it gets. Numbers are just bonkers, it will follow INTC's turbulent repricing
tbh I think even if AMD discovers the cure of cancer it will fell off a cliff in earnings because the sentiment is awful. … what these guys need to understand is that 80% of the problems that INTC is facing are theirs alone and not sector related.
Intel had cpus self destructing and lost consumer favor with the PC nerds and AMD had outperformed them with the x3d chips in gaming. … They may go down...but it won't be from an earnings miss they will over perform there.
As bad as SpaceX was, this is such an obvious rug pull and pump and dump that even the dumbest retail investors should know they're just bagholders for exit liquidity. … It's just a mystery why Meta, Google, Amazon and Microsoft would fall for the snake oil themselves, and Oracle basically speed-running a bankruptcy in tag team with CoreWeave to fund this disaster.

APPL PLTR monday, AMD tues, ARM QCOM wed, more than enough to mess shit up more if they miss.

I play MU and SNDK earnings, they both double beat and raise guidance and go red. I don't play SK hynix because of the above and insteas choose Seagate STX... Guess what... As a bonus, I played HOOD as well after seeing SOFI's earnings in the morning. Do you want fries with that?
Samsung's record $80.4B profit beats forecasts and tops Microsoft, Alphabet and Meta as chip supplier outearns its AI customers
Now I'm invested in DRAM because the party isn't stopping for the next 2-3 years and potentially even more. … But the underlying strength (or lack of) of the company is the reason why you see different valuation scale across the 2 groups.
Anthropic files for its IPO, revealing an $80B loss in 2026
What is your definition of cheap? A cheap share price? Like less than $10? … They had two Q over Q revenue gains over 70% twice last year.

Well this is my fault. I held AMD and RDDT calls overnight. Fuck me...

Meta announces $95 billion stock offering to fund AI expansion
The best case scenario for them is META stock goes up and they get both the revenue plus the capital gains. … But at least for this one, a small equity stake for a large chunk of revenue with a company that has fairly robust non-AI revenue is probably a pretty safe bet.
Weekend Discussion Thread for the Weekend of October 24-25
This sub was on a real roll last year, but now it's been chasing tech stocks on the way down while energy stocks have gone vertical. Pretty sure most of reddit missed the flight to quality too as even ValueInvesting was making fun of people going in on MCD, WMT, and others.
+$16,000,000 on AMD and SOXL. Sold it all.
It was really beaten down, several tech people I knew felt they made good products, and they had a chance to take market share off NVDA with their MI series chips. … I've been all in one stock pretty much my whole investing life.

MU has SNDK, Intel has AMD while poor NBIS is stuck with CRWV as his bro.
