But I'm not selling now even though 20% on one's biggest position in 17 months is not too bad for a giant company. … I sold my whole position in MSFT instead to help fund more shares in RDDT.

I am pivoting to ETFs only moving forward. GOOG and RDDT are pure disappointment. It is very hard to beat SPY in the long run, theta gang or not on the individual stocks. Wall street moves the market mercilessly. Too greedy both ways.
His avg PPS for GOOGL was like 320 or something. … Honestly, this all feels a little cathartic though despite the pain many are feeling.

also iirc that 59% stat is down 20%+ from all-time highs, not 52 week highs, so some of those names peaked years ago. and the gap's been closing, equal weight RSP is having its best month vs SPY since 2009.

It's certainly possible it'll go down like MSFT. … But RDDT's valuation to growth is lower than MSFT, and RDDT's margins and growth are massively higher than MSFT's, and RDDT doesn't have to spend the capex like MSFT does.
