Reducing my tech exposure, stock recommendations?
You can't win them all, but the pullbacks in 2018, 2020, 2024 (tariff tantrum) and 2025 (Iraq war) did wonders for my individual positions. … I'll be retiring 3 years early bc of my winners.
GOOG and RDDT, good time to buy?
While what you say is true, it's silly not to rebalance your portfolio. … Can you do 100% voo? Yes.
Laugh at my pain but also looking for advice
Buy VOO or QQQ or SPY and sell all the other shit. 80% s&p500. 20% something a lil riskier.

Big Tech will bleed while Boomer dividend stocks inherit the AI revolution
I know I'm a small fish but I have about $753,000 mostly in dividend stocks and I make enough that if they keep being stable enough to pay dividends I should be set to relax and work part time in about 4-5 years. … Largest holdings in order are JEPI, O, ARCC, SCHD, and SGOV (alternative savings) with a few smaller investments here and there for good measure.
Moving my Roth off E*Trade: Fidelity vs Robinhood vs Schwab?
At 29, you may have 5 or more opportunities to bump up your Roth with a transfer bonus. That will really juice your returns. You can hold VTI and VXUS and move it around. So Robinhood. If you don't want to play the game, Fido is fine. I have both.
For AI bulls and WSB regards, apology forms are here
His bad ideas: Longing LULU from $190. Longing FOUR from $65. Shorting PLTR at $183. … I follow some boomer finance guys. Highly recommend George Noble.
What Are Your Moves Tomorrow, October 30, 2026
most people should invest in VOO and chill. I would never tell my close friends to do the shit I do lol. I wish they would put their extra cash into SPY instead of leaving in in a HYSA.

Alphabet (Google), is having one of the wildest days in its history
Switched over from VTI and dropped $75,000 on GOOG shares from this massacre. Will report in a few months to a year how it went lmao.
Invest! I'm very new to all this.
My personal feeling is eventually simplicity wins so I would basically go nearly 100% stocks in your retirement account at 19. … More modern might be a total market fund (Russel 5000) like VT. You could diversify more by adding al international with something like VXUS or increase exposure to NASDAQ.
Where are you putting your rainy day funds?
If you are looking at generating a future income stream, but don't need the funds now, go with something like SCHD ETF. … In the long term it will beat SGOV for sure, with both NAV and distribution growth.
Anthropic files for its IPO, revealing an $80B loss in 2026
What is your definition of cheap? A cheap share price? Like less than $10? … They had two Q over Q revenue gains over 70% twice last year.

Did anyone actually grow money in the 2000s?
By early 2000's - retail investors started to be more active because of the dotcom boom and also because of decimalization. … And in the early 2000's - total market indices like the Wilshire was quotes along with AMEX and NYSE composite.
Unemployed and losing big on stock market
Brutal year tbh. Had to dump it all in june and rotate into SaaS for the big bucks. … Another play was energy but had to predict the iran war for the easy gains, or play the TA perfectly (which surprisingly was pretty accurate for oil at least initially).
Elon is Manipulating the Neocloud Market
Short it! I'm shorting to and have covered calls on my NBIS shares to soften the way down. … But make no mistake this is massive fud and my baby NBIS will be a diamond you wish you bought.
Daily General Discussion and Advice Thread - October 26, 2026
A couple popular ones are VOO (Vanguard S&P 500 ETF) and VXUS (Vanguard Total International Stock ETF). … Once you're a bit more comfortable with the way the market works, then you can start adding individual stocks.
