i've been watching VRT from the sidelines for months and never pulled the trigger, classic move on my part.
VRT was a nice surprise this morning.
Wanted to jump back into VRT the other morning at $190. 50% from it's ATH.

I bought VRT for 230$ a couple days After its 12 month target was updated down to 188$.
VRT got dumped too severely for the past few months.
I'm also not a bear or a bull, I rode the AI bubble all the way up on companies like VRT, investing in a bubble is rational, I just don't know if it can survive another year with the way things are currently going, and a persistent oil shortage.

Actually there is. You can predict that VRT would have a large move the next day based on the daily candle which was an inside daily. For a stock like VRT, the way it moves, it's rare for that to happen. There was 2 catalyst really. 1. Inside daily (technical) 2. AMZN Er helper data center story (fundamental).

I bought VRT for 230$ a couple days After its 12 month target was updated down to 188$. It kept dumping and hit my stop loss. Kept digging until exactly 188$, then got a full recovery over 250$. You mean to tell me this fucking shit ass bullshit clownshow isn't completely rigged you can fuck yourself with a broom.

Historically the two parallels that worry me are the 2000 dotcom bubble, and the 1973 stagflation crisis- neither of them occurred in midterm years. … Obviously I wouldn't say we're anywhere near the severity of either of those events yet, but we're on the path and blindly ignoring all that because the current year is a midterm is pretty fucking dumb imo.

AI data-center supplier Vertiv just reported orders up over 100%. Shares are jumping 15% premarket.
damn, top up right before the jump must feel great. i've been watching VRT from the sidelines for months and never pulled the trigger, classic move on my part. that order growth is pretty ridiculous though, makes me wonder if the whole "AI spending slowdown" narrative was overblown.
