BE rose ~20% before its S&P 500 inclusion was confirmed. What does history suggest happens next? 0 -0.5393 stocks

Are you serious? Are you saying AAPL can move 20% in 1-2 days? My point is BE is a high beta stock. ...

  • To think it cannot move more this week after the inclusion is ridiculous.
  • Positive upward movement is not necessarily priced in.
  • The answer is yes because of macro backdrop is not that great.
  • So to say all the move is priced in is not necessarily true.

  • Same story as you, I'm only shooting for 2% or so on one of my 6 major choices, (AMZN, TSLA, AAPL, NVIDIA, STX, PLTR).
  • I now use ChatGPT who keeps me in line and I've put in absolute rules that we don't buy near any ATH, Whether monthly or weekly or whatever it is.
  • Be able to leave the money in there and do not keep on holding reducing your bottom each time or trade parameters/rules.
  • Set a stop loss for 0.5% under if it hasn't touched it in a good while, or at least an alarm so you manually market order if it goes much below 0.5%.
  • Set your limit sell to 2% above market price, only once double bottom/new support twice is confirmed, then commit!

  • Reasoning: GOOG is an absolute beast, and has been integrating (increasingly useful) AI into its ecosystem.
  • MSFT on the other hand, aside from increasing utility of Copilot for businesses, has sensational AI as a service delivery.
  • The integrations of AI into their power platform and azure, if continued to be improved, is going to be a game changer.
  • Haven't really done too much of a dive into fundamentals, but from a pure AI service delivery perspective, both keep impressing me.
  • AAPL also comes to mind, as the SIRI AI integration has great potential, but as of right now they're lagging behind a bit, and will not be selling the AI itself, so I'm just a tiny bit hesitant.

  • The ticker or underlying is just what you decide to trade if you are trading stocks only it is the company like AAPL or SPY.
  • When you trade futures it allows you to leverage to make more money, however it does move very quickly.
  • I prefer Futures because it requires only 500 on Ninja trader to trade micro minis and it is very easy to establish risk reward and test strategies and to learn even with real money until you feel confident and can trade with little to no emotion.

  • The premium is neutral whether you buy three calls on one day or buy one each month.
  • What do you mean you are not reducing the risk just spreading it?
  • I am not disagreeing I am just trying to understand whether I should buy all my LEAPS on one day (with different expiry dates perhaps) or buy them at intervals.

  • I'm reluctant to discuss strategies, because if you don't understand exactly what I'm doing like clock-work, you're gonna lose money.
  • Because of that, I'll buy AAPL calls on a day when it's been trending down, make money on all of my trades, and still have AAPL close a lot lower.
  • It's because I'm buying those bounces and selling the peaks.
  • And sometimes I'll trade that downtrend for weeks at a time.
  • Now, if I just tell my friends "buy AAPL" they're gonna be pissed at me.
