- Also, why have so many Reddit threads turned into stuff like this.
- No negatives are ever mentioned, everything is hyper hype, nothing is ever bad, minor declines that take the share price back to like two days earlier after gigantic run-ups are a "massive gift", frequent "nobody is looking at this/understands this but me" type posts, clickbait-y titles, etc.
- If you're that confident in the thesis, just offer a balanced take - it shouldn't require "OMG YOU GUYZ"-level pump and when people do that it often doesn't make them want to buy.
- Offering a balanced take is going to have a better response if you're trying to get people interested.

- Yes they are a growth company and no they don't turn a profit but their leadership sets goals that the team executes.
- They're launching at a cadence faster than the first 5 years of the Falcon rocket AND they don't have Twitter and xAI bundled into their stock.
- I think there is an insane amount of FOMO in the market and people are starting to realize that the SpaceX IPO might not be the best place to invest so instead they turn to RKLB, ASTS, BlackSky, etc.
- They later that profit will increase as they drive down cost and again people will cheer.
- When they make it out to the profitable side of the road people will cry even harder that they didn't get in at $40, or $90, or $150, or whatever the price is.

- ASTS is potentially a better version of Starlink (SpaceX's main form of revenue), but is only now getting its satellites manufactured and up in the air, with many delays.
- If it executes properly, it'll get a huge share of the satellite connectivity market.
- ASTS sats can connect directly to current smartphones without the need for upgrades, which Starlink cannot.
- They have lots of deals in place contingent on getting satellites up, so if they execute their revenue will ramp up VERY rapidly over the next couple of years.
- I'm also bullish long-term on RKLB and LUNR but I think their respective share prices have outrun their short-term outlooks.

- The poor will be able to afford a cheap phone and a subscription for ASTS, communication is huge and they'll save enough time and or money from the massive gains they'll get from communication, it'll make sense.
- Margins for poor countries is a lot lower - naturally.
- Abel the founder views connectivity as a human right and the pricing in poor countries will be suited to match.
- There's a lot more reasons but it really boils down to ASTS having better tech, the spectrum and the customers already all set up.
