I still like ASTS at this price, glad I got in earlier; but if the Bluebird constellation goes as plan; I feel like they will basically be printing money.

- I've been selling 2-3 weeks out CC with +20-30% strike price.
- Stock went up 40% in a week 3 days after I've sold these CC.
- There is still plenty of time for the price to go down but if it just doubles and stay there as the new base, that would be a lot of money left on the table.
- My hope/plan is that there will be plenty of Trump dump & pumps in the future so that I can re-enter my position, maybe at a better price.
- I once got assigned on one of ASTS pumps, but successfully re-entered almost entire position since then via selling Cash Secured Puts at a better price.

- I'd say it's 30% being smart enough to see the way the world is headed, 20% being zin or emotionally numb, and 50% luck.
- At least for me, smarter people can probably lower the amount of luck required.
- The biotech crashed 70%, but I still loved it for some reason, sold half my ASTS to buy more.
- Or if I wanted to go back further through my life's missteps - I also used thousands of bitcoins to buy drugs when I was younger.
- Look forward and try to find those good stocks - but do not assume you have all the information to accurately predict what is a very complicated future.

- ASTS/RKLB make sense in terms of narrative and TAM, but execution risk here is massive.
- In case I am running some LEAPS, I'd want to pair that up with some dull but ubiquitous stuff like semis or infra play.
- Easier to catch the trend than get perfect timing and execution here.
- Also deep ITM works great, but you pay through the nose for the time value, and if things go sideways for a year, that's going to sting much worse than most people think.

- Well let's say I log into my Roth today and Main has moved up to $57 and Google is down to $295.
- If Google then goes to $305 in a few days, sell the stock lot at $300, keep the $295 for later, and then we'll put that money in MSFT who has moved down from $360 to $340.

- ASTS tech \*sounds\* far superior if they ever launch satellites, plus they have MNO partners for a seamless experience, whereas Elon wants to compete against MNOs which probably means the Starlink TAM probably never gets that big with customers having to buy a dish/ subscribe to a fully different service...

- I think OP isn't just saying that the market for Starlink is overstated, but also that their burn rate limits the efficacy of an early mover advantage.
- Starlink having a high burn rate may make it easier to pivot though, and the sheer number of their satellites also makes them a more stable network for military use due to the sheer number of munitions needed to take it down.
