CAT with PE of 47 is actually wild when you think about it Been watching some of these infrastructure plays and yeah the multiples are getting pretty insane The whole data center buildout craze definitely feels like when everyone was buying oil rigs in 2008, these companies gonna get crushed once the hyperscalers slow down their capex

- Idk wtf is going to happen, idk it just looked overvalued to me based on why, ai infrastructure play, is that really enough to 3x their share value?
- They didn't come down that much compared to memory, semis is weak right now.
- It just felt right, maybe I'm thinking right but I know it is just a coin flip.

- My dad has been in the market since practically the day he turned 18 in the late 60s, so he's been through everything and nothing has shaken him.
- He prefers to stay patient and buy when there's blood in the streets.
- His defensive stocks he picked up in the aftermath of the GFC, because he figured if we're going to have a functioning economy we'll need national banks and industrials like CAT.
- He got into mega cap tech long before they were the Mag7, several from IPO, and has been doubling down on them ever since.
- AAPL he started buying a year or so before the GFC because my sister wanted a Mac for college, and that surprised him.

- You don't have to be the hero who bottom ticks a dead cat bounce in semis.
