  • Imo the whole thesis collapses into one question: does he draw the line or does he let the ARR carry it?
  • A guy who sold to HPE and IBM presumably knows that diluting at $0.45 to fund growth he could've funded from expanding contracts is value destruction.
  • If outstanding shares stay roughly flat and the telco/pharma accounts keep expanding, the retention story does the heavy lifting and the price has to follow eventually.

  • HPE has invested heavily in SAAS for AI/ML, and it's starting to pay off.
  • Being able to manage and prioritize data storage and access latency means only spending minimally for expensive, liberally for cheap, and moving it all around in between.
  • AI observability lets you manage massive arrays with small human investment.
  • It's a continuous arms race, each side leveraging the latest tech to thwart the other.
  • Spending billions to develop an AI or ML model that is easily stolen by competitors and ransom jerks doesn't make for profitable business.

  • Its stock was MUCH MUCH cheaper than HPQ before the rally, because it took over the 1st place in PC and laptop market share of HP for 14 years already.
  • Lenovo has almost A HALF of its operation selling AI servers, just like HPE or Dell.
  • Lenovo is the first overall in PC market share for years, and its product is much higher in quality and consumer's rating.
  • I feel bad for you not taking x2 profit and dream about x100 lol.

  • Good on Google looking to the market for liquidity rather than continuing to lay off people to fund AI.
  • AI will pay off, but you actually need your talent to get there.
  • Despite knowing this my level of regardation was quite high.
  • I sold my HPE call that I bought last thursday this afternoon thinking that there wasnt enough hype on trading day for me to stick it out... AFterhours already up to 65.

  • I'm probably going to cash 50% out off HPE and stick it into AVGO tomorrow.
  • Glad I've worked with both HPE and AVGO's servers on a daily basis at our company for the last 10+ years, including the financial administration for those.
  • Definitely expecting AVGO to moon as well tomorrow, but not as hard as DELL or HPE.
  • If AVGO moons as well I'm definitely taking an early position on IBM right after that.

  • 12k all in on HPE (cloud and servers) for earnings today should make about +40%.
  • Tomorrow all in on PANW earnings with 5x leverage because AI needs cybersecurity.
  • Yes a lot of depressed bears are saying spacex will crash the market and shit I was one of them but fuck them, lets stay positive and actually start making some money.
