- I think the thought that "on paper it looks diversified because they're 3 different ETFs" is fundamentally flawed logic.
- Buying QQQ along with SPY is usually an attempt to concentrate, not diversify.
- In the current environment it honestly isn't even doing a great job of achieving that tho.
- At the end of the day, It is important to know what you are investing in and why, and someone who is buying different ETFs that hold the same companies likely does not know either of those things, unless they are trying to get more exposure to something that their current holdings do not provide.

- More importantly, what objective combination would invalidate the $800/$830 SPY view: breadth deterioration, a break below the volatility trigger, weaker earnings revisions, or a change in liquidity?

- And most importantly...taking trades at SUBJECTIVE supply and demand areas.
- I only take trades at those aforementioned highs and lows because they're OBJECTIVE levels.
- And there's pretty much guaranteed liquidity at those extreme high/lows which means price is generally going to get good movement when you enter there.

- This is why ETFs is profitable on options like SPY, QQQ, IWM etc.
- Once you buy options, this is your max loss if it expires out if the money.
- When option strike, the bought out of the money and then SPY current price moved towards that strike of the option, so it gained value.
- If it gain like 20c, moved from .35 to .50, if they sell it, it is $20 per per contract, so $2000 profit.
- You can see this in my daily trades post and also in my 2 youtube video on SPY from last year showing 2 weeks trades, only 2 vids I have in my channel - if they keep it and SPY is going opposite way and it loses value, like becomes .20 and they sell it, they only lose the difference.
