I don't think anyone has answered the question - what company is firmly established, a well known brand that is doing great, making tons of dough - like AAPL in 2010, when it was trading at a P/E of SEVEN, and has gone up 100x or so since then.
RKLB or ASTS may 100x in 10 years - but they're still tiny companies not making money yet.

They are fully vertically integrated which increased margins and decreases delays and risks.
Their space systems is high margins and the largest part of the business (large government contracts).
They also have cash on hand to keep running at current loss rate for 2.5 years, tho they should be profitable in 1-1.5 years so even if that doesn't happen the loss rate will decrease so they aren't really at risk of running out of funds.
They have a solid plan and proven management that achieves their goals (it's space so yeah usually slightly delayed but not by much).
I haven't looked too much into ASTS or LUNR, I get the "potential" but I realllyyyyy try to avoid pre-revenue companies.

I can't wait until someone posts DD about how a fusion company might actually pull it off in 5 years or so like Catse getting us all into ASTS or the dozens of people for ELTP.
I think the huge scientific hurdles need to be cleared so companies can come in and make it profitable.
When ITER or equivalent is "working" and above break-even is regularly achieved on new designs, and someone is going to try and make a commercially viable version.

I'm struggling finding more companies at the cross section of profitability, small market cap, obvious path to growth, existing demand in a proven market, and success markers as ELTP.
A behind-the-scenes industry that allows for huge profits but still un-sexy enough to be hidden from a lot of retail investors.
And now some speculation: It's an OTC stock with limited brokerage support.
But at some point they'll likely crest over the $1 or so requirements to start relaxing trading restrictions.
Which, coincidentally, would be right around the point it can start appearing places like WSB and on the radars of investment firms.

I feel AI has a strong chance of exponentially growing that expansion as well.

My favorite though is to find very low priced speculative stock that I think will "pop" at some point and do this swing / intraday scalp strategy to continually increase my position size in a dollar stock that will post huge gains on news.
Plus you can scalp profits which you then re invest into the swing position.
I did this with RKLB and ASTS.
Many swing traders can't get over the fact they sold all their profits and now it looks like their swing position has less unrealized gains and they don't like it.
However, they need to add up all the realized gains and they'll find it's a lot more than the unrealized gains they would have had.

ACHR...well, I thought it'd continue a bit, wish I'd sold more 2027's last week, but they are holding decent value and I hope for a pop on catalysts next year, and intend to hold the shares unless something goes seriously awry.
(Maybe news will move ASTS today, then I'll get out of some early 2025 calls on that.)
I would like a Santa Claus rally on the latter though, because the position is a bit too large.
I sold all RKLB but shares and some 2026 LEAPS meant for long term and pops on Neutron.

Starlink is amazing at distributing internet connection via physical terminals to its customers.
The smallest physical terminal is about the size of a laptop.
They are also trying to be successful in direct to cell (connecting to satellites without any modifications to a phone) but are not able to get approval by the FCC because it's currently causing interference with other signals.
ASTS is ahead in the technology by estimates of 18 months to 5 years (super big gap but they do have the advantage).
ASTS also needs a considerable less amount of satellites to achieve what starlink is out to achieve in the d2c space.

So I doubt people are missing out on the bull market in totality.
So if you had a good reason based on research to go "all in" on ASTS, and not just "yolo" then unless the fundamentals of your analysis have changed you should let it ride.
If you think an indicator of "good stocks" is uninhibited growth with zero pullbacks, I have a bridge to sell you.
I forget which book it's in, maybe "The Psychology of Money", but at one point they talk about risk tolerance.
You can't just throw shit at a wall though, you need to make informed decisions on the handful you pick.

Here's my best guess: This will run for a bit - days, weeks, maybe a couple of months, chopping its way back up to $6-$8 per share.
Hopefully you sold before the dump, so you can buy back in at whatever the new low is without averaging.
It's made me thousands, buying the dips and selling the rips.
It cost me $1500 when they announced they were issuing new shares a few months back, I was caught off-guard.
But I locked in $1300 profit today just before closing, letting the rest ride for a week.
