The safety precautions worked and caught the issue before it became a bigger one.
I figured that news and the eventual launch/their launch schedule for the rest of the year, combined with some reading on positive earnings potential and the impending earnings call made me think it was a good time to buy.
I had a few calls earlier in the run at a $4.5 strike and didn't want to miss out!
Other contributors - I could afford more RKLB calls than something more expensive and still have funds left over in case it tanked.
My cost on the 10x calls was about $1700 which was still 2x more than I had committed up to this point on a trade.

I will inject income from 2025 at random points as I normally do, but this will create a steady, consistent investment schedule with money already earned and ready for action now.
With the remaining $20,000 now in SPAXX, I will create automatic purchase of PLTR, RKLB, OKLO, and SPY at $385 / week.
I'm going to transfer $50,000 from my 2024 income into my Fidelity Accounts and into SPAXX.
Since I usually just inject $10,000 - $20,000 into my portfolio in one shot and then leave my investments alone for a while before doing it again, I'm going to DCA this next year.
I think I'm going to leave my 1000 shares in NVDA alone for a minute and use funds to build my other positions.

Huge revenue growth, huge earnings growth, margin expansion, large pipeline of new products and contracts, and decades of success as a space manufacturer.
Dual listing on a US exchange opens them up billions of dollars in new investment from funds that are bullish on space and have very few public options.
Not that they're directly comparable, but RKLB is one of the few other publicly traded space companies that even has revenue.
Disclaimer: I own ~1,000 shares that I've been buying every few months since IPO.
This is one of my highest conviction plays on small cap stocks.

Well, you're wrong about most of what you said and if you researched the company and why it's moving, it would make total sense.
There smart ones understand that when Neutron launches next summer this shit is going ballistic.
Yeah that's because they announced the first two contracts for Neutron from a constellation customer.
$30 a share for RKLB would put it at $14.9 billion market cap.
RKLB is just now hitting $10 billion and their Falcon9 equivalent will be launching next summer.

I sold because I was in RKLB (thank god I got out of that shit show before the 12% drop yesterday) and got into some safer shit like GOOG and AMD.

I was so close to break even and now it's fucking snatched away from me in a matter of hours.

Very happy I came across this relatively early and hopeful for what the future has in store.
I was hesitant to get in on PLTR after it had ran up to the high 20's, waited for a pullback.
Awesome business model, brilliant employees and leadership... who knows how much this company can grow in this new frontier market of space.
I added to my RKLB position because of my previous mistake.
Watched a couple videos on YouTube about them and knew since SpaceX wasn't public this is the best next thing and bound to grow.

I put SpaceX at 500B to 1T, considering the 350B offer got almost no seller, and valuing RKLB at 2%-2.5% of SpaceX is reasonable.
Yet when my own money is in the stock I can't help worrying !
I know RKLB is a great company: getting to orbit is incredibly hard and the company has more room to grow.

I know some people think RKLB is a meme stock now, but I think they are just getting going and will be a millionaire maker.

ACHR...well, I thought it'd continue a bit, wish I'd sold more 2027's last week, but they are holding decent value and I hope for a pop on catalysts next year, and intend to hold the shares unless something goes seriously awry.
(Maybe news will move ASTS today, then I'll get out of some early 2025 calls on that.)
I would like a Santa Claus rally on the latter though, because the position is a bit too large.
I sold all RKLB but shares and some 2026 LEAPS meant for long term and pops on Neutron.
