I've had a bit in physical for years as a hedge but I might finally add some GLD too, the expense ratio is whatever but the liquidity is nice if you ever want to trim.

GLD diverging from equities today is extremely bullish for precious metals.

Going to continue to accumulate GLD and SLV until the market remembers the US is going bankrupt and that the only way out is printing and capping yields at effective negative real returns.
SLV and GLD are not in a good place right now, coming off of the January frenzy, with no real stable end in sight.
Can buy TLT and GLD in small amounts (maybe 10% each) since they are cheap enough right now to actually hedge a crash efficiently.

The debt interest numbers are wild, over a trillion just to service it and nobody in DC seems to care. I've had a bit in physical for years as a hedge but I might finally add some GLD too, the expense ratio is whatever but the liquidity is nice if you ever want to trim.

GLD fucking ripping into close. You love to see it when your port is more than 50% precious metals.
Ask your bank to put you in VOO or VT. Don't let them put you in bonds. Can buy TLT and GLD in small amounts (maybe 10% each) since they are cheap enough right now to actually hedge a crash efficiently. But do sell all bonds in the next market crash if yields do in fact collapse.
