Just Keep Buying GOOG

I'm bearish on GOOG short term based on how shitty Gemini is. I'll wait for the inevitable headline of it failing against Claude and ChatGPT in some important benchmark, then I'll consider buying back in.

Why is SK Hynix losing so much market share and should investors be concerned? 1 0.7677 stocks

Is it too late to buy AAPL? 1 0.9395 stocks

AAPL used to be a high growth company, but then had 3 years of essentialy flat revenue. They're bac...

  • They're back on track for mid to high teens top line growth, but for my tastes they don't quite fit the profile of consistent growth anymore compared to other megacaps such as GOOGL MSFT AMZN NVDA where top line is literally running up each and every year with lots of pre-contracted recurring revenue.
  • I have a smaller position in AAPL after liquidating some recently (when it ran to $330).
  • I could see a scenario where they maintain a "popular consumer name" premium such as COST and WMT.
  • But I pick my individual stocks for valuation based on financial performance that outclasses SP500 average and thus should have higher return.

  • And I dont want to lose 30% of my portfolio, thats why id rather buy GOOGL and AMZN instead of ANTH, while catching enough upside to satisfy me.
  • Im the one who spelled out with logic how your argument of big tech falling due to liquidity into ANTH is self defeating.
  • In when I state that I personally am ok with catching a nice fat 30% gain on big tech IF ANTH were to have a strong rally(say double!
  • The only actual argument I made was that your claim of "GOOGL and AMZN are going to tank because of liquidity into ANTH" being completely and utterly false.

Who will be the long term AI winners 10 0.9313 investing

  • Reasoning: GOOG is an absolute beast, and has been integrating (increasingly useful) AI into its ecosystem.
  • MSFT on the other hand, aside from increasing utility of Copilot for businesses, has sensational AI as a service delivery.
  • The integrations of AI into their power platform and azure, if continued to be improved, is going to be a game changer.
  • Haven't really done too much of a dive into fundamentals, but from a pure AI service delivery perspective, both keep impressing me.
  • AAPL also comes to mind, as the SIRI AI integration has great potential, but as of right now they're lagging behind a bit, and will not be selling the AI itself, so I'm just a tiny bit hesitant.
AVGO: Missed opportunity or value trap? Curious what this sub thinks 7 0.9825 stocks

It's the environment we're in right now with high interest rates that do not look to be going away a...

  • When interest rates are high, investors looking for growth prefer a growth company with better valuation like NVDA (and you can see it is moving) versus a company like AVGO - both blew out the numbers on earnings but NVDA PE=28 and AVGO PE=43.
  • Investors do not have to wait decades to justify the stock price because the company is generating massive cash flows right now.
  • Because its near-term earnings power is compressed into a lower multiple, it is viewed as a safer, more stable growth anchor.
  • * **Broadcom (P/E = 43):** A higher P/E implies that a significant portion of the company's valuation is baked into **growth expectations in the distant future**.
  • Since those future earnings are aggressively eroded by high discount rates, the stock's current price becomes much harder to justify, making it a "higher risk" growth asset by comparison
