- yeah not sure about the actual engineering/science but based on the amount of optics demand as well as LITE's guidance (they provided 30% supply-demand shortage in May quarter, couldn't find definitive #'s for August but they did say they were surprised by ability to price up.
- AXTI got ~$42.5m/yr committments from Lumentum to secure InP supply.
- Valuations aren't obscene, they just made their first positive EPS and its projected to explode.
- And yeah they definitely have room to hike price.
- Risk/reward isn't too attractive, but I think it's a good stock to DCA in.
