What Reddit is saying
Competitors are falling because of a combination of NIMBY, regulators, poor planning..Outside city limits, not subject to NIMBY, easy completion with TCEQ regulatory requirements, and mostly:.Since these guys are building a thing in my territory, you're going to run into the same people; regulators, engineers, trades..I can't speak to what their expansions in other places are going to be; and if they will follow the same playbook with the same zoning and the same political and engineering support that they did here in Midland, TX..Which is to say that I have no idea if NUAI is smart or lucky, but the campus they're building now is a winner.

- A PPA is a big green signal that Vistra would only allow the termination of the existing power agreement they're transferring from Ciphers odessa site to NUAI's TCDC phase 1 site.
- Tenant signing would allow nuai to access their loan facilities implimented by macquarie and then this would allow nuai to fund construction and operations for phase 1.
- Now tenant signing aside, it could be anyone but the important thing to think about is once a credible tenant locks in on TCDC the whole project rerates higher on the market and for their next credit loan terms for phase 2.
