What Reddit is saying
I love how bipolar this sub is as soon as SPY flips.Barcoding theta price movement.Just went out to buy a coffee and saw the fucking OCTOBEAR sharpening his claws and licking his lips..He said he's ready to feast on some meat and asked if I would meet him in the men's bathroom..He then touched my face gently with his claw.Without tariffs and these wars we would probably be at SPY 900.#Remember this morning when SPY was up hugely and bol were jerking each other off in a circle?SPY will be in a range of 2-3% for the next 2 years.I just opened the largest SPY put position I've ever made in my life..Something feels wrong..All my stop triggers went off this past 2 weeks and I'm almost all cash, with the exception of Nintendo, Costco, and TRLV (which ate shit 16% today but I'm still green overall).
Top comments, summarized
- I'm on a horrible losing streak so it would cause the index to fall to that level in 1 day
- And the Lord said unto Bearhunter, "Behold, I shall flood the earth because of the sins of man.
- Build thee an ark, and bring two of every stock."
- And Bearhunter gathered two of AMD, two of Amazon, and two of SPY.
- And the bears mocked him, saying, "The market shall fall further."
- But the ark survived, and Bearhunter looked upon his portfolio and said:
- Its funny because MU making this insane profit means that semi companies are spending a SHITLOAD on chips.
- Like 87% gross margins for the main input to their products.
- They will have to pass that cost increase to their customers and so on.
- Like, the 2 main things that fuel the global economy and Diesel and Memory.
- Isnt it clear that margins are going ot face extreme pressures soon?
- Just went out to buy a coffee and saw the fucking OCTOBEAR sharpening his claws and licking his lips.
- He said he's ready to feast on some meat and asked if I would meet him in the men's bathroom.
- He then touched my face gently with his claw.
- For me, I told like 5 close friends about how much I lost, and my parents.
- I thought I was the shit after making $10,000 from $5,000 on SPY 0DTE, only to lose all of the $10,000 + $11,000 within a span of 3 days trying to recoup my losses.
- There's no happy endings unfortunately, and even the success stories we see are excessively rare.
- Please just put the phone down/ delete the app, and tell someone close to you in real life so that the reality sets in.
- Something feels wrong.

- If trading ETFs like SPY or QQQ isn't working for you, consider focusing on individual companies where you actually have a thesis.
- Maybe there's an upcoming earnings report, product launch, or other catalyst that could move the stock.
- The point is to have a clear reason for entering the trade instead of just guessing which direction the overall market will go.
- Betting on the entire market through SPY, QQQ, etc.
- Making $0 that day is a hell of a lot better than blowing up your account because you felt like you had to be in something.
- Went to near zero, made 100k in two days, and I'm still in the hole for a fat chunk.
- These puts expire Friday, hilarious timing, I know.
- Anyways, I do agree that it will probably tumble down to 220 230 range in a few weeks.
- I need to stick to SPY options, I always make good money on those but fuck me I get my ass blown out touching stocks.
- fed speakers been doing this dance all year, say something hawkish then walk it back next speech, market gets whiplash every time
- that margin chart you posted is interesting, the valuation multiples table show things are not as crazy as people think.
- PCE revision lower would be nice but feels like market already pricing that in, the vol regime on SPY still negative so any pop might get sold quick.
- I'm hoping ASTS and RKLB make a comeback soon.
