Avoid chasing new AI chip stocks and accumulate TSM?
TSM wins no matter who wins the AI race. I hold it and looking around at my other AI related holdings I'm convinced more and more I should concentrate my investments in it. As far as geopolitical risk, if China were to move it would spark WW3.

- That 10 P/E in China isn't a free lunch, it's hazard pay for the chance your entire thesis gets blown up by a single policy shift overnight.
- Even in a supposedly overfished US market, there are always pockets nobody's paying attention to, spin-offs, small caps that fell out of an index, ugly industries with clean balance sheets.
- Most Chinese companies don't have that kind of geopolitical plot armor, so the discount makes perfect sense until the risk actually materializes.
- But acting like a P/E multiple is an apples-to-apples comparison across legal systems is how people end up catching a boot instead of a bass.
