Republic Services (RSG) got to be the most boring near-monopoly on the market that nobody thinks to buy
RSG is a solid company. Recession proof. Waste haulers like RSG and WM are regulated like utilities but with less overhead than electric and gas utilities. RSG has been the best performer from a stock appreciation perspective and it trades at a slight premium according to it's PE.

- I sleep in for the first time in a fucking century some of my calls were up but I got mad, insta sold everything and I revenge traded myself to a 5k hole, double down and got a pop to sell for a 40% gain.
- I threw every cent into VST Oct 16 150c which I was down 25% on and 5 min later there is an announcement for a nuclear plant loan from the feds, instantly whole position 40% up.
- Holding the rest of the contracts for next week came out with 6k.

- AMZN a light yes, although Bezos will probably dump more sooner than later.
- WMT was overly expensive vs history, still not reasonable.
- ASTS perhaps worth a mild allocation in the $50's.
- I don't want NFLX, I'd rather TTWO.
- HSY no - there's stuff in CPG that has a decent stable of brands (CPG) but they keep getting obliterated by the fact that most of these names aren't well run and they continue to face a series of other issues (consumer stress, shitty/mediocre management, lack of innovation, GLP-1, etc.)
