All the recent failed banks were highly specialized, catering to very specific clientele (high exposure to one market sector). They all had high levels of uninsured deposits (highly susceptible to a run). They all also had low liquidity to deposit ratios (over-leveraged). You need to find that cocktail for the next target. A lot of the regionals like WAL, PACW, ZION, etc., don't seem to fit the above.
