Exactly why you have to slow start nibbling on good deals like AMD and MU rn. Doesn't mean you go all in you just nibble slowly.
At this point I'm tired of pretending I know what any of this shit means, just tell me how much today gonna hurt my MU, NVDA, AMD, and GOOG?

MU: what am I missing?
Look at what NVDA did for a year between summer 25 and 26, essentially flat despite their PEG ratio being cut more than in half with triple beats every quarter. … The landscape has to convince the more conservative parts of the market to come over, or convince people to get out of AMD or META or whatever other excellent growth prospects and go heavier into MU.
If you had $100k to put into just one stock, what would you pick?
if cbrs takes just 1% of nvdas market share that would be 10b in revenue, a third of their whole cap. … They hated it in 2023. Its SO similar.
Had I invested the 100K being discussed in this thread in Feb20215 when I bought, the position would be worth about 1 million (and I didn't have DRIP turned on for the first 8 years). … I think AMZN and GOOGL are good to talk about in this discussion due to market penetration, staying power, multiple revenue streams, and a history of performance.
Ok ladies and gents, this is embarrassing to admit, but...
Buy great stocks that are at cheap valuations. Loads to choose from today as the market is having a pullback. I'd go MU, META, AMZN, GOOGL, AVGO and NFLX. All of them are easy money.

If I was making this buy today GOOG is probably the right answer but I'd look hard at AMZN, they are the one lagging the other MAG 7 these days and if you are buying a big chunk of something to hold for a while buying low matters more. … If this goes south they are not going to suffer.

Oh its about to get ugly for SOXX and DRAM thats why you stick with bag7.

How much money have you lost trading?
And you definitely won't get rich trading scared money which is why you need to make the foundation first. … Then, when a promising company comes along or you think the next 5-10 years will be all about X industry, you're able to invest in a leader in the space and hold it.

First, the thesis for GOOGL AMZN & AVGO is simple, earnings growth and they have all pulled back nicely. … Third, is a retard trade for the bois, buying 6-18 month dated puts on BRENT (crude oil) into $110-115 (targeting $95-80 strikes) and dca sell the dip.
I put a small amount in AMZN calls that are already up 30% in 10 days. I should have sold all my trash ass MU and put that in AMZN.

Right, I feel very fortunate to be profitable in a market that people have consistently bemoaned as the worst they've ever seen or whatever. I don't play options - too dumb for that. But this is a good learning experience I guess. No pain no gain. Unless I'm buying AMZN or INTC. I always seem to time those right.

Honestly if it wasnt for FICO I'd be doing great right now. That was some bullshit, once again caused by this crazy admin. However, I've been doing great swing trading UNH, EOSE, DRAM, MUU, SNDX, ASTX, and AVAV.
Damn, OpenAI was supposed to buy $260 billion in NVDA and AMD chips with that $20 billion they was short. Fuck they not gonna buy those now.
Need help consolidating my stock list.
35 stocks is basically running your own ETF without the management fee, trim the overlap first. You've got AVGO and NVDA in tech, plus PLTR and AMD which all ride similar hype waves so maybe pick two you actually trust long term. Also your consumer side is heavy with both COST and WMT just mirroring each other.
