What Reddit is saying

The most upvoted takes from each side, past 7 days.
Bullish

Otherwise, you're better off derisking from the S&P, not leaning into it.

SKHY is N/A because the U.S.-listed shares do not have enough trading history for me to reliably evaluate the 1-year/5-year performance and full price-trend portion of my methodology.

Bearish

NVDA: 8% of S&P 500, 9% of QQQ, 22% of SMH, 100% of NVDA.

15% SPCX dilution incoming
Anti trust only really cares about vertically integrated leaders consolidating. TSLA and SPCX are minimally overlapping in market verticals.

TSLA market cap is 1.43T while SPCX is 2T. How is Tesla more valuable?
▲ 7r/wallstreetbetssentiment +0.53on Reddit
Market cap doesn't mean anything in this. If I have TSLA at $362 and SPCX is $148 (current prices) and I'm getting .7 to 1, I'm not even getting 1/2 the value of a TSLA share.
▲ -4r/wallstreetbetssentiment +0.56on Reddit
SpaceX might be acquiring Tesla at a premium meaning that SpaceX shareholders will pay out TSLA shareholders to acquire their stock at a tune to the price difference of the two, TSLA is much more valuable than SPCX meaning their shares will be diluted, losing ~10-20% of their value. … With that gigantic increase (which was already comically high to begin with) the stock loses almost all of of its ability to grow in value.

52 week lows? What are you buying, SMCI?! SPY isn't even at a *two* week low.

RKLB still way too expensive at 50X sales with no real moat and no Neutron revenue now until 2028/2029, and that's if all goes right. … Too much uncertainty to tie money into a company that's already overhyped and overpriced.
▲ 2r/wallstreetbetssentiment -0.69on Reddit
Ppl used to say RKLB was a safer pick then ASTS, they will both be $5 in short order lol.

If you had $100k to put into just one stock, what would you pick?
Maybe they meant all in on put for ASTS. How can anyone risk their 100k on ASTS when they are clearly behind on everything vs SpaceX starlink? Way faster launch and way cheaper cost. This is the ideal stock to use the statistical arbitrage strategy. I'd short ASTS and use the proceed to continue to long SPCX.

120 shares of SNDK at $1490. 100 shares of MU at $1064. I'm a.
▲ 11r/wallstreetbetssentiment +0.53on Reddit
This time next year we are gonna have a good laugh and reminisce about SNDK being at $2300 at ASTS over $100.

those accounts have been chopping flat for 6 months despite contributions and I am sick of it, but some of that was my fault. … I don't want to paperhand and sell at a 6-month low when I intended to hold for at least a year or several but it is starting to really hurt.

Homie look at: DELL, AMD, LITE, SNOW, HPE, INTC, PANW, CRWD, ARM, NET, NTAP, OKTA, ETHU all of these previous leading stocks getting wrecked this week. Who care if toilet paper stocks go up and save SPY? nobody trades them lol.

Had I invested the 100K being discussed in this thread in Feb20215 when I bought, the position would be worth about 1 million (and I didn't have DRIP turned on for the first 8 years). … I think AMZN and GOOGL are good to talk about in this discussion due to market penetration, staying power, multiple revenue streams, and a history of performance.

I don't want to hear another fucking analyst talk about PLTR, TSLA, SPCX add in the fag 7 to the list minus aapl. … Also if another fucktard goes on tv and says "invest in small caps, mkt has to broaden" they are fucking delusional.

Goldman Sachs Review: Hedge Funds at Peak Exposure to Mag7 While Small Caps Short Soars to All-Time High
Banks trade on net interest income, credit costs and guidance way more than the EPS headline, so a beat with a soft NII outlook can still go red. … If the calls sound fine on consumer credit and NII guidance holds up with the Fed hiking again, then yeah, the cheap-valuation case gets stronger.

Retiring in 8 to 10 years, going 80% S&P 500 / 8% QQQ / 6% SMH / 6% single stocks. Rate it.
If you're going risk-on, just VOO it up, or if you're looking for a reason to actively oversee it, 90%+ VOO with a splash of individual SMH components. … Otherwise, you're better off derisking from the S&P, not leaning into it.

Hey man. You clearly do work so I'll be straight with you. … Second thing man and I think this is really your post... Trading only the Euro gives you a small number of positions and a small result, but in the distance you'd be profitable.

This is brutal. But SKHY full-port memory is compressed investors are hesitant, and HBM supply is restricted. … Even the more common name semis AI chip names with decent multiples get squeezed with this backdrop maybe MU as a yolo even if SKHY is possibly the better or more dominant name for Q4 but damn this call option was insane.

I own the only two fucking stocks that are down overnight, ASTS (-3%) and AAPL (-2%). Fuck my ass.
▲ 8r/wallstreetbetssentiment -0.79on Reddit
Typical, when I don't hold shit overnight, that's when stuff like NVDA, GOOGL, and SNDK go up. But when I DO hold overnight, that's when shit like BA or SNDK drop 2% and fuck me over. Fuck this gay ass market dude.

Anyone else considering increasingly moving to short term govt paper in their tax-free accounts?
The reason for the 25% treasuries is because you mention you may want to retire in 10 years, otherwise if you liked your job and wanted to keep working, you could have even less treasuries. … It's a cliche, but health isn't guaranteed, people die in their 50s, you've saved a lot, have some fun now.
