I was lucky with PLTR and survivor bias is real. For every success story posted here, there are many more unreported losses from following hype. Meme stock "DD" and Reddit tips are usually terrible investment advice. UPST is a perfect example of how following the crowd can destroy wealth.

- $UPST -- I think the market is still massively underestimating this company I've been digging pretty deeply into Upstart lately, and I keep coming back to the same conclusion: The market is still valuing UPST based on what happened to the company in 2022-2024 rather than what the business is starting to look like today.
- I'm not saying this is a risk-free investment.
- But at roughly a $2-2.5B market cap, I think the risk/reward is getting pretty interesting if you believe the current operating trajectory is sustainable.
- The numbers are starting to get ridiculous
