- You start putting the pieces of the puzzle together and realize there might be real value in its current pricing if things come together for them.

- This is something which will play out over next few years, I really feel found something before the market has acknowledged it on wide scale.
- I'm also in PLUG, after the oil crisis it's putting green ammonia or hydrogen in play which is already reflecting by the government contracts they're receiving.

- For the most part, my "forever" stocks are companies that have consistently increased revenue and profit each year, have higher margins and tend to have some form of market dominance/barriers to entry/competitive advantages.
- Some stocks that I have held for 8-15+ years are MSFT AMZN V MA KO GOOGL NVDA AMT NFLX AVGO MCD AAPL SHOP LRCX.
- KO and MCD probably don't fit that criteria exactly, but they are more on the 15+ year cylce, I am more than happy with the returns and don't want the long term capital gains tax now.
- After I realized the big hyperscalers invest more money / have more knowledge in security than most corporations, and big companies started cloud migrations, I realized earlier in the cycle your MSFT AMZN GOOGL were goldmines (it's a little amusing because most people think AMZN's financial success is tied to online retail - even GOOGL's larger growth is attributed to hyperscaler/AI rather than search/ad revenue).

- For TSLA and PLTR though, you did have to have faith and hold through multiple years of sideways share price movement.
- That kind of blind faith is also a retail trait as holding through zero gains is lost opportunity cost big institutions and hedge funds.
